Abstract Expressions Workshop: Embracing Raw Edges & Fluidity

Wow, what an amazing day this past Saturday at the Abstract Expressions Workshop: Embracing Raw Edges and Fluidity, part of Parnell Community Centre’s first ever Summer Art Intensives!
🌟 These workshops are designed for artists of all levels to explore new techniques, develop skills, and push creative boundaries – and we definitely did just that! 🎨✨
A huge thank you to Parnell Community Centre and for all the students who come to this highly anticipated, sold-out workshop! The students were guided step by step through my unique method, blending the Soak-Stain technique with Asian Water-Ink traditions to create stunning abstract paintings.
It was a day full of messy, creative fun, and we couldn’t be more grateful for the experience!
We also had a delicious spread for lunch, thanks to the Waitemata local Board for funding towards this workshop and making it such a memorable day for all involved. 🙌❤️
