‘BE BOLD & FREE’ ABSTRACT PAINTING WORKSHOP
Multidisciplinary Artist Coral Noel Yang is offering “BE BOLD & FREE” — an Abstract Painting Workshop for you to experience the wonder of painting freely, unleash the power of your unique mark making and explore design principles through collage.

The impetus for this workshop -
In our contemporary busy life with work and family to care for, it is easy to forget the unique voices we each bring to this world, the creative sparks that light up our souls, and the potent power of our original imagination that is the engine behind our personal innovation!

Here comes a fun solution - Abstract Painting! An amazing gift of tool to help us exercise our right brain, shift from analytical thinking into physical movement, and in the comfort of colours and beauty, experience the reckless play and adventurous experimentation that can fuel our soul and bring back childlike wonders.
It’s an opportunity to give yourself three hours of a Sunday afternoon in a beautiful and relaxing cafe setting where you get to have fun splashing and dripping fluid paints and making bold and wild marks, be wowed by the spontaneous washes coming out of your hands and feel the nurturing power of paint blooming into each other and sinking into surfaces.
What will we be doing -
Coral will guide you through:
*Right brain drawing exercises to get into a flow state
*Mark making exercises to unleash your raw power within
*Fluid painting to experience the wonder and spontaneity of fluid colours
*Design principles exploration and integration through collage
By the end of the workshop, you will have generated materials that can create multiple abstract paintings you are proud of to put on your wall.
All the exercises are designed to free you to no longer fear an empty canvas, and to hone in your color and design skills in a playful way. You can bring these exercises, mindsets and principles back to your daily life or creative practices and experience deep transformation!

Anyone who is craving for creative expression, tuning to our authentic voices, exploring painting and design skills in a fun setting, connecting with like-minded friends.
You DON’T need any painting skills to attend. But if you are an artist, you will be refreshed through the exercises and bring freedom and boldness back to your practice.
What’s the fee and what does it include -
The workshop is offered at an introductory rate of NZ$89.
It include all painting materials as well as refreshment (coffee or tea/pastry of your choice from Little Rosie menu)
