Enchanted III continues my exploration of the safe anchor and healing river message of the ENCHANTED series, but adds the metaphor of Treasure in the Darkness as represented by the jewel like sapphire blue, carmine red, golden orange and emerald green. This colour palette was personal to me reminiscent of the colours of a mohair scarf Daddy brought for me from US when I was a girl. Whenever I wear this scarf in the deep winters I feel extra warm and beautiful. Somehow this palette found its expression in this painting. Thus I feel this piece speaks of the immense blessings, favour and richness poured out to us from Above.
