MYRIADS OF DREAMS
Myriads of Dreams is about the blossoming of our dreams — not just one but many yet to come. It is created from my strolls in the Auckland Botanical Garden during this early spring. When I visited this particular spot, the magnolia was already in full bloom while the cherry tree was just awakened by the new season. I feel the magnolia blooms are like candle flames, each whispering the fulfilment of a beautiful heart desire. And the cherry tree seems to emerge from the mist to the dawning of the songs of the soul after a long winter sleep.
This piece carries again my passionate study of the rhythm of the visual elements to create a pleasing composition and generate a sense of movement of the blossoms and branches therefore they can be alive on canvas as they are in real life.
