✨Echos of Wonder - Study Sketch ✨ is the colour study for my larger work ✨Echos of Wonder ✨.With a touch of fantasy, it captures the magical feeling I experienced while traveling through Yosemite National Park, as the sunset painted Half Dome in vibrant hues of orange and magenta.
My sketches are integral to the creative process behind my large originals. I begin by designing with pencil sketches, exploring the abstract geometry and composition of each piece. Next, I creates colour studies—Study Sketches—on small raw canvases using acrylic, soft pastel, and coloured pencils, the same mixed media I employ in my larger works. These Study Sketches have been enhanced from their initial rough forms. While retaining their original raw essence, they are now refined and complete for appreciation and enjoyment. Together, they offer the audience an intimate glimpse into my creative journey, deepening you understanding of my artistic process.
