TREE OF LIFE finds its inspiration in a serendipitous encounter with a natural wonder known as "Suibotsurin" in Japanese (水沒林), or "the Submerged Forest," discovered during a visit to my mother's hometown in Akita, Japan. Suibotsurin manifests between late May and early June at Lake Shusen, following the melting of thick winter snow from the mountaintops, which floods the lake. This phenomenon envelops yanagi trees, submerging them up to their trunks, creating the illusion of them floating and sprouting directly from the deep waters.

TREE OF LIFE captures the emergence of fresh young foliage, weaving a vibrant tapestry of springtime greens. It invites you into a fluid realm of wonderland, where splashes and blooms of greens and teals abound. The minty green blooms appear to melt and float against the backdrop of whimsical teal mountains. Fresh and vibrant, TREE OF LIFE sings of peace and wellbeing.
