Lhe design impetus is my natural fondness of the "diamond oval" shape: it's organic, dynamic and playful. It exists in natural elements everywhere... water drops, flower petals, butterfly wings and living organism. You will see this diamond oval shape through out Unfurling collection.
I tried to capture a sense of liveliness of the little pond and my mesmerisation by the water creatures leaping, swimming, frolicking and the light of the day dancing on the water surface. My lifelong connection to nature and love for biology spring from this little unassuming pond where lily pads and tadpoles thrived.
