In this piece I tried to capture the magic of the pond life as encapsulated by the dragonfly wings. Their ephemeral beauty and iridescent allure seem to represent our dreams or memories, fragile yet timeless.
In creating this Unfurling collection, I came to understand myself more as an artist... What captivates me most is the glistening light, the glow, the reflection, the mist, the flow and the movement as the little five year old girl experienced by the little tropical pond.
